Dal plays an important part in every Indian home; whether for quick weeknight dinners, or a feature in special feasts made for guests - which brings us onto our event...
Vela will be holding a 'dal feast' on Sunday 17th February at Hart's Bakery, and this feast will include up to five dishes; where dal will be used in creative and varied ways - giving our guests the ultimate dal experience!
The setting will be informal and relaxed, and you’ll be sure to enjoy a welcome drink and masala chai to go with your meal.
The menu will be vegetarian but due to the nature of the pop-up, we are unable to cater for vegan diets or ensure the dishes are gluten or allergen free. There will be five dishes in total, subject to the availability of ingredients (we're striving to create a seasonal and locally sourced menu, where possible). Please do contact Vela ahead of time with any questions about the menu.
This event is also BYO if you'd like to bring alcohol with you.
